Fractured Story
Fractured Story adalah adaptasi dari dongeng tradisional, di mana penulis mengubah atau memodifikasi beberapa elemen cerita di dalamnya. Fun fact, fracture story merupakan salah satu jenis dari narrative text. Jenis teks narasi yang paling sering dimodifikasi adalah fairy tale, contohnya Thumbelina.
Struktur Dasar (Generic Structure)
Analytical Exposition terdiri dari tiga bagian utama:
a. Thesis
Bagian awal yang menyampaikan topik serta posisi penulis terhadap isu tersebut. Thesis memberikan gambaran umum mengenai apa yang hendak dibuktikan melalui argumen selanjutnya.
b. Arguments
Berisi alasan-alasan logis yang memperkuat posisi penulis. Setiap argumen biasanya dijelaskan dalam satu paragraf, disertai data, ilustrasi, atau contoh relevan.
c. Reiteration
Penegasan kembali pendapat penulis tanpa menambahkan argumen baru. Bagian ini memperkuat keyakinan pembaca dan memberikan kesimpulan singkat dari keseluruhan teks.

“The Slipped Ladder”
It was a bright Saturday morning when Rafi decided to help his father clean the storage room behind their house. The room had not been opened for months, and dust covered almost every corner. While his father organized the tools, Rafi climbed a small ladder to reach an old box placed on a high shelf. As he stepped onto the third rung, he felt the ladder wobble slightly. Before he could adjust his balance, one of the metal hinges suddenly loosened. The ladder tilted sharply, causing Rafi to slip and fall onto the floor.
His father rushed toward him in shock. For a few seconds, Rafi felt dizzy, but he remained conscious. Fortunately, he only suffered a minor bruise on his elbow.
